Moving to cloud accounting is not automatically an upgrade. The win comes from cleaner coding, better bank feeds and reporting that directors can open without waiting for a month-end export.

Before you migrate

  • Simplify the chart of accounts around decisions, not history
  • Agree who owns bank rules, VAT coding and month-end close
  • Plan integrations (payroll, POS, property systems) deliberately
  • Define the first management pack you want on day 30

A migration without design simply moves clutter to a nicer interface. Design first, then switch.
